Hi everyone!

My name is Irina, and it is my esteemed honor to serve as your president for SC at this years DIMUN. I'm currently a sophomore attending the International School of Beijing.

Participating in MUN has been one of the best decisions I have ever made; it has truly transformed me into a more knowledgeable and confident person while allowing me to gain many new friendships. It is my sincere hope that you all experience similar growth through  DIMUN and SC, along with an enjoyable time.

See you all soon!

President

Hello delegates!

My name is Yian Zhang, and I am a 12th grader attending Dulwich College Beijing. I am honored to serve you as the Deputy President of the Security Council at DIMUN XVI.

MUN is about the art of diplomacy: standing for your principles and interests while leaving enough room for compromise to promote global progress in our increasingly divided world. It is my hope that you, delegates, will be able to harness a power that even the modern UN cannot grasp; to make real, credible change that leads to solutions, not more problems.

Here, I would like to challenge you to be better than the adults trying to run this global organization. Let your speeches, POIs, and amendments add to a greater pool of ideas that harness the power of a united world. But, most importantly, have fun, and I wish you can leave this conference with new ideas and lasting memories. â€‹

I look forward to seeing all of you at the conference!

Deputy
President
