SECRETARIAT TEAM

KADEN FEI

Secretary-General

Hello there!

I am Kaden Fei, Secretary-General for the Sixteenth Plenary Session of DIMUN, Dulwich International Model United Nations conference.

2026 marks my 4th year in the Model United Nations program and 4th DIMUN. It is fascinating how MUN has become such an essential part of me and something truly special. It has allowed me to meet many incredible people, but it has also helped me grow. MUN has allowed me to see outside of my textbooks and provided me with a set of tools I use daily to tackle challenges in my life.

This year at DIMUN, we encourage delegates and student officers to see the world through a new set of lenses, adjusted for “The Optimist’s Dilemma”. I hope to continue the 16-year legacy of DIMUN and to provide a memorable experience for all.

I hope to see you all in February!

Secretary General

Honorable directors, fellow student officers, and delegates!

I am Kalli Yang, and it is an honor to serve as the Secretary-General for the 16th Dulwich International Model United Nations conference. I am a Year 12 student; this is my third year in MUN.

Before MUN, my experience in debate made me approach global issues as if they were competitions, where the goal was simply to win. MUN, however, has been a transformative experience. Through late nights of research, fervent discussions, and speeches shaped by evaluation, I’ve gained new insights into both the world and myself.

Delegates, I hope that DIMUN XVI will be an opportunity for you to connect with like-minded people but also to attain diplomatic skills that can support you in an ever-changing world. Most importantly, I encourage you to embrace discussion, challenge yourselves, and fully immerse in the experience.

I look forward to meeting you all in February!

ANITRA COELHO

Deputy Secretary-General

Honourable directors, student officers and delegates- my name is Anitra Coelho and I am honoured to be your Deputy Secretary General for the 16th Dulwich International Model United Nations Conference. Over the years, I have gone from being a delegate, to a chair, and this conference serves as another opportunity for me to be part of the secretariat team.

MUN has always held a special place in my heart. It has allowed me to not just cultivate my love for public speaking and debate, but has taught me the importance of diplomacy, negotiations, and decisiveness- all skills that have made me more prepared to tackle each new day. Model UN is not just an extracurricular activity that references history, but instead is a chance for all delegates to encounter situations impacting various nations. More importantly it allows us to be optimistic in terms of solutions to alleviate these problems.

DIMUN has a legacy of being an amazing conference for delegates to connect, collaborate and conceptualize ideas, and I look forward to welcoming all of you to our campus this February. See you all soon

JONATHAN YUAN

Deputy Secretary-General

Honorable directors, fellow student officers, esteemed delegates, and guests,

My name is Jonathan Yuan, and it is my great honor to serve as the Deputy Secretary-General for the sixteenth iteration of DIMUN.

My journey in Model United Nations began four years ago, and it has since become a passion and a commitment—shaping not only my public speaking and debate skills but also broadening my understanding of current pressing global issues. From my first conference as a delegate to now serving on the secretariat, MUN has continually challenged and inspired me.

I am committed to ensuring that DIMUN XVI remains both engaging and diplomatic, where every delegate can collaborate meaningfully and find their own diplomatic voice. I look forward to welcoming you all in February for what promises to be an unforgettable conference.

YEJUN KIM

Secretariat

Honorable directors, fellow student officers, and delegates!

My name is Yejun Kim, and I will be serving as a member of the DIMUN XVI secretariat.

Currently in year 11, I started my MUN journey in year 9. Having gone to various conferences, the most valuable lesson learnt from these opportunities was MUN's ability to not only make me broaden my awareness of the world around us, but also to cultivate compassion and strengthen collaboration.

I look forward to seeing everyone make the most of this conference and showcase their highest potential at DIMUN.

See you in February!

Secretariat

Honorable directors, fellow student officers, and most esteemed delegates, I am Yena Han, a secretariat member for the 16th iteration of DIMUN, and it is my third year in MUN.

MUN has not always been the easiest or the most relaxing extracurricular that I am part of, but it is an activity that I have continued to participate in across two different schols and it is also the most rewarding activity that I am part of. Part of what makes MUN so compelling is the dicussion of real world issues and it is this part of MUN that I hope delegates take away from this conference.

The future of our world is uncertain, especially with all the recent political upheavals and turbulence, but I hope that through MUN, all delegates who participate are able to get some insight into the solving of real world problems and can continue to use their acquired skills in their future.
