Esteemed delegates, directors and student officers,

It is with great anticipation that we, the DIMUN XVII Secretariat extend a formal invitation to your school to join us at Dulwich College Beijing for the Seventeenth Plenary Session of DIMUN, happening from March 5-7, 2027.

Dulwich International Model United Nations has a rich legacy of offering a space for delegates of all ages and experiences to convene as a means of discussing pressing current affairs. This year, our theme is “The Zero Sum”- and with this in mind, we invite all attendees to thoughtfully consider collaborative solutions in lieu of individual ones.

At DIMUN XVII, we are proud to have nine committees- and have added Crisis as a new committee to offer a challenge for older and more experienced delegates. Additionally, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email or contact a member of our secretariat.

The conference will be held completely in person from March 5th to 7th, 2027, at Dulwich College Beijing
DIMUN will follow THIMUN (The Hague International Model United Nations) rules of procedure. This means that position papers are not needed, but delegates are expected to draft resolutions before the conference. Visit the official THIMUN Rules of Procedure document or the DIMUN Delegate Guide for more information!
The conference will be tech-free, so laptops will be allowed for lobbying and merging, but the debate will be conducted entirely on paper.
